Dance day in Varberg on Saturday 18 March

Organiser: Psalto – Christian Dance Association in Scandinavia

An opportunity to meet each other in the dance to the glory of God.

There will be dance lessons by Lena Lagerqvist, community, and sharing.

Everyone is welcome regardless of dance experience. Our focus will be to honor God with our body, and it has many positive health effects; we can dance healthier, happier and smarter.

Lena will teach HjärnDans and choreographies in different levels of difficulty.

9:30 Drop-in coffee

10:00 Morning prayer

10:30-12:30 Dance session led by Lena Lagerqvist

12:30-13:40 Lunch break - Bring your own lunch box or go to one of the restaurants nearby.

13:40-16:30 Dance session with Lena and also sharing of participants - including fruit break.

Lunch is not included. Bring your own or accompany you out on the town.

who is lena lagerqvist?

Lena has extensive experience in dance and dance teaching both in and outside the church, both at home and around Sweden. Nowadays, Lena mainly works as a dance teacher at Halmstad's Cultural School, but is passionate about worshiping God and touching people with dance.

Lena has written a book entitled "Dance to the Glory of God" and was coordinator/chairman when "KDGS - Christian Dance Society in Sweden" was started in 1992. Nowadays the association is called "Psalto - Christian Dance Society in Scandinavia". Lena was also active in the planning group when Psalto arranged an international dance conference in Sweden together with "ICDF - International Christian Dance Fellowship", August 2022.
